San Miguel Bowls Club has expanded dramatically over the past five years with the ever increasing numbers of new residents and visitors to the area. It is now some 20 years old and has more than 200 members. Constant improvements are being made at The Club, which boasts a top quality competition standard artificial surface with six rinks. There are 4 mixed teams, 3 in the Southern League and one in the Northern Alicante League, competing with as many as 30 different teams on the Costa Blanca. It hosts many prestigious bowling events, the most recent being the 2005/2006 Spanish National Championships.

Club Days - Monday evenings are set aside for social bowling 5 for 5.30pm. Tuesday and Thursday - mornings 9.30am for 10am and afternoons 1.30pm for 2pm. On Sundays it’s 9.30am for 10am.

There is a full programme of fixtures in The Kings Cup and Saba Competitions and Friendly inter-club matches against other Clubs in the region.

Beginners - On Wednesday afternoon the Wasp’s hit the rink…that’s guests and visitors that have always wanted to try Bowls for the very first time and, perhaps, before committing themselves to membership.

There is a charge of 5 euros including the hire of bowls and shoes and that most important help and guidance from experienced club members.
